The Board of Judges of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey has approved implementation of protocols for Claims and Noticing Agents. On December 2, 2025, Chief Judge Christine M. Gravelle issued General Order Governing Protocol for the Retention of Claims and Noticing Agents under 28 U.S.C. § 156(c) Pending Adoption of Local Rule.
The Protocol for Retention of Claims and Noticing Agents under 28 U.S.C. § 156(c) require use of two new local forms, pending adoption of local rule, when seeking retention of a claims and noticing agent:
