Unclaimed Funds Locator
Notice is hereby given that an Unclaimed Funds Locator has been added to the unclaimed funds webpage available on the court’s website. This searchable database will allow members of the bar
and public to search for funds that have been deposited in a bankruptcy case and may remain unclaimed.
All requests for unclaimed funds must be filed using Local Form Application for Payment of Unclaimed Funds (effective December 1, 2019).
Upon approval of a request for unclaimed funds, the claimant must complete an additional form for the funds to be released. A new email address, unclaimedfunds@njb.uscourts.gov, is also available for submission of this additional form only.
The Unclaimed Funds Locator, complete instructions and all related forms are available at the Unclaimed Funds link on the court’s website, www.njb.uscourts.gov.
