NOTICE TO THE BAR AND PUBLIC
APPOINTMENT OF EAMONN J. O'HAGAN AS BANKRUPTCY JUDGE

Eamonn J. O'Hagan was sworn in as a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of New Jersey on February 17, 2026. Chief Judge Christine M. Gravelle of the Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey administered the oath of office at the Clarkson S. Fisher United States Courthouse in Trenton, New Jersey.

Judge O'Hagan will assume his duties in the Clarkson S. Fisher U.S. Courthouse in Trenton, New Jersey and fills the position vacated by Judge Rosemary Gambardella upon her retirement on May 5, 2025.

Judge O'Hagan earned his undergraduate degree, with highest honors, from Rutgers College in 2001 and his law degree, magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2004. Judge O'Hagan clerked for the Honorable William G. Young, U.S.D.J., in the District of Massachusetts and served as Senior Bankruptcy Counsel at the United States Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney's Office in 2015, Judge O'Hagan was a bankruptcy attorney in private practice in New York City.
