FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT COURSE
General Information/Background
Every individual debtor (or approved financial management fourse provider) in a chapter 7, chapter 11 in which § 1141(d)(3) applies, or Chapter 13 case must file the Certificate issued by the provider upon completion of the Financial Management Course by the debtor.

NOTE: If a joint petition is filed, each debtor must complete and file a separate Certificate.
Conventional Filing: Docketing Steps
STEP 1 Select Bankruptcy from main menu.
STEP 2 Select Misc. Events category.
STEP 3 Enter case number and click [NEXT].
STEP 4 Select the Financial Management Course Certificate event from the available events list. Click [NEXT].
STEP 5 Confirm case number and click [NEXT].
STEP 6 Select the attorney; click [NEXT].

NOTE: If “The following attorney/party associations do not exist for this case. Please check which associations should be created for this case:” text appears. Place a check in the box. Then click [NEXT].
STEP 7 Upload the PDF; click [NEXT].
STEP 8a Select the party for which the Certificate for Financial Management Course is being filed.
STEP 8b Select Debtor, Joint Debtor or Debtor and Joint Debtor; click [NEXT].
STEP 9 Confirm case number and click [NEXT].
