IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THE BAR AND PUBLIC
CONCERNING AMENDMENTS TO THE LOCAL BANKRUPTCY RULES

On or about April 6, 2006, the Board of Bankruptcy Judges for the District of New Jersey approved proposed amendments to its Local Rules. Pursuant to the Court.s Annual Rule Making Cycle as published in December 2005, the proposed Local Rule amendments are subject to the approval of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, subsequent to a thirty day public comment period. Approved Local Rule Amendments are effective August 1, 2006.

The following are the proposed Local Rule amendments and related forms for 2006:

(1) New D.N.J. LBR 3003-2, Filing Request for Payment of Administrative Claim in Chapter 11 Reorganization or Chapter 7 Liquidation Cases;

New D.N.J. Local Form 23, Request for Payment of Administrative Expense;

(2) Amended D.N.J. LBR 2016-1, Compensation of Professionals;

Amended D.N.J. Local Form 3, Attorney, Accountant and Financial Advisor Cover Sheet;

(3) Amended D.N.J. LBR 2090-1, Attorneys - Admission to Practice;

(4) Amended D.N.J. LBR 3015-6, Objections to Confirmation of Chapter 13 Plan

(5) Amended D.N.J. LBR 4001-1, Automatic Stay -
Amended D.N.J. Local Forms 15, Calculation of Amounts Due; 16, Post -Petition Payment History (Note and Mortgage) and 16(A) Post - Petition Payment History (Vehicle Loan/Lease)

The Court hereby specifically gives notice of the above referenced proposed Local Rule amendments, and invites comments from interested persons to be submitted within thirty (30) days of publication to: James J. Waldron, Clerk, United States Bankruptcy Court, Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, 50 Walnut Street, Newark, N.J. 07102.
