Notice Concerning Chapter 13 Calendars in the Trenton Vicinage

In an effort to limit physical appearances to the greatest extent possible, the Court requests that all parties (both represented and pro se) proceed in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • With regard to all pending, contested Chapter 13 matters, the Court encourages all parties to attempt to resolve or adjourn their matters in advance of the hearing. The Standing Chapter 13 Trustee has established procedures on the review and reporting of matters and the Court strongly encourages all parties to follow these procedures. See the Trustee’s website, www.russotrustee.com or the link in the Court’s homepage.  For any Court initiated Orders To Show Cause and Adversary Proceeding calendar matters scheduled on  a Chapter 13 calendar day , please file any supplemental submissions as soon as possible in advance of the hearing date .  For any emergent Chapter 13 matters, please contact Chambers.
  • If there is a compelling reason for a contested Chapter 13 matter, the Court strongly encourages all parties to appear by telephone. Arrangements may be made to participate via Court Solutions (www.court-solutions.com or 917-746-7476). Court Solutions is an outside service that charges a fee for a telephonic appearance, but pro se parties may request a waiver of that fee.
