NOTICE TO THE BAR AND PUBLIC REGARDING
NEW MANDATORY CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE FORM

 

Please be advised that pending amendment to D.N.J. LBR 9013-3 Certificate of Service -
Motions
, effective immediately the Board of Judges for the United States Bankruptcy Court,
District of New Jersey has approved a new mandatory local form, Certification of Service.

Pursuant to D.N.J. LBR 9013-3 all moving papers, answering papers, and cross motions,
including those filed electronically, must be supported by a certificate of service. The certificate
of service must be filed as a separate document and must identify the relationship to the case of
each party served and the manner in which each party was served.

Please note: The court’s local form, Certificate of Service and Compliance re Retention
has been abrogated.

The new form is available on the Court’s web site, www.njb.uscourts.gov and at the
Clerk's Office in each vicinage.
