OBJECTION TO DEBTOR'S EXPENSES

 

The instructions below are written as an attorney's objection.  This event is also found under the Trustee Events category and the docketing steps are slightly different as noted below.

STEP 1           Choose Adversary from main menu

 

STEP 2           Choose Answer/Response category

 

STEP 3           Choose Motion/Application category

 

STEP 4           Enter case number; click [NEXT]

 

STEP 5           Select Objection to Debtor's Expenses; click [NEXT]

 

STEP 6           If this is a joint filing, place a check in the box; click [NEXT].  If this is not a joint filing, click [NEXT]     to skip this screen.

 

STEP 7           Select Party or click [ADD/CREATE PARTY]; click [NEXT].

 

TIP - Trustees should select their name on this screen and click [NEXT] on the screen stating, "The following attorney/party associations do not exist"

 

TIP - If this is the first time an attorney is appearing on behalf of this party, place a check in the box to create the association.  Failure to place a check in the box results in the attorney not receiving NEFs in this case.

 

STEP 8         Upload PDF file; click [NEXT]

 

STEP 9         Confirm case information click [NEXT]

 

STEP 10       Docket text appears; review for accuracy, modify if appropriate; click [NEXT]

 

TIP - Text of docket entry cannot be modified from this screen.  If there is an error, abort the transaction and begin again.
