NOTICE OF INTENT TO REQUEST REDACTION

Pursuant to the Judicial Conference Privacy Policy for Public Access to Electronic Case Files, this court established procedures for redacting personal data identifiers from transcripts of court proceedings available to the public in electronic format.  The General Order Governing Transcript Redaction Procedures became effective December 1, 2009 and a Miscellaneous form, Notice of Intent to Request Redaction was developed.  This form must be filed with the court within 7 days of the filing of the transcript and serves to inform the court of your intent to redact information.  Use the instructions below to e:file the form.

Within 21 days of the filing of the transcript, a List of Items to be Redacted must be filed with the court and served upon the transcriber.  This form sets forth the transcript page, paragraph and line in which personal data identifiers appear and the manner in which they are to be redacted.
